High Functioning CPR

posted Jun 17, 2013, 5:19 PM by Justin Eberly
The Pennsylvania Department of Health has updated the protocols followed by the EMS Providers throughout the Commonwealth.   All providers of Silver Spring Ambulance & Rescue Association will complete required training to ensure the protocol changes are understood and put into practice.   At the forefront of the update is "High Functioning CPR", a systematic approach to sudden cardiac arrest to emphasize continuous and uninterrupted chest compressions.

An instructor "train-the-trainer" course was held at Carlisle Regional Medical Center.  Justin Eberly (Training Chairman), Matthew Hauck (EMS Supervisor), Dr. Rory O'Neill (Medical Director), Chris Turnbull (Staff EMT) attended the course and will be instructing the continuing education course recommended by the Department of Health for "High Functioning CPR".
