Making Everyday a Training Day

The importance of frequent training and continuous education is undoubtedly correlated to top-quality patient care.    By raising the bar in the classroom, we increase the standard of care in the field.    At Silver Spring Ambulance, we take great pride in offering a monthly continuing education course for EMS providers.   We welcome providers from neighboring agencies to all of our courses and advertise our specialized courses to providers across Cumberland County.

"Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit."   -Aristotle

On Wednesday, September 11th, a number of our providers on the daylight shift reviewed the LUCAS Device operation with West Shore Advance Life Support Paramedics.   We would like to recognize those providers that go the extra mile to hone their skills.   Thank you.
