About Us
Silver Spring Ambulance & Rescue Association serves Silver Spring Township, and portions of Middlesex and Monroe Townships in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Our association has three ambulances with at least one of these ambulances staffed with a scheduled crew to respond to emergencies. Our ambulances are staffed by both part-time paid and volunteer emergency medical providers. Our ambulances responded to over 1400 calls for assistance during 2010. Those calls included medical emergencies, fire calls, and standby services for events within the community.

Ambulance Subscriptions

Subscription fees are important to paying our bills and are the second largest source of income, at 18.5%. We receive no funding from the 2011 Silver Spring Township Fire Tax itself. We do receive 2.0% of our income from the Township, to offset the cost of fuel. Help us, help you.
