EMS Week is coming up next week! Silver Spring Ambulance & Rescue Association has a full list of activities and events planned to celebrate. A wide range of community education classes and information sessions will be held at our station throughout the week and at our "Open House" we will open the doors of our station for the public to see what we do.

Silver Spring Ambulance & Rescue Association will be offering a Blood Pressure Screening at Giant Food Stores on the Carlisle Pike in Silver Spring Township on Saturday, May 11th from 10am-2pm. Stop by to have your blood pressure checked and talk to our providers about our upcoming EMS Week celebration!
Silver Spring Ambulance & Rescue Association has recently been approved and will now carry Epi-Pen Auto-Injectors on our ambulances. With the assistance of Dr. Rory O'Neill, our medical director, our providers completed the Pennsylvania Department of Health mandated training programs for Epi-Pen administration.
We are proud to be one of the few Basic Life Support services to have Epi-Pen Auto-Injectors stocked on our ambulances. This treatment can be a critical component in a severe anaphylaxis (allergic) reactions.
